TRACKS ACROSS AFRICA
Safari Classics Productions is the producer of the highly rated television series, Dallas Safari Club's Tracks Across Africa, hosted by Ivan Carter. Entering our 7th year, Tracks is featured weekly on Outdoor Channel.

Tracks Across Africa is dedicated to capturing the excitement and drama of the African safari…the last great adventure on earth. Shot on location in the finest game fields of Africa, Dallas Safari Club's Tracks Across Africa covers the safari experience to a degree no other program has ever attempted. In addition to exciting safari hunting action, this series contains valuable safari tips, conservation messages and trophy tips designed to both entertain and educate the safari enthusiast.

In 2012, Dallas Safari Club's Tracks Across Africa will air 26 new episodes to be run over 52 weeks featuring Ivan Carter, special guests and the finest line up of professional hunters in today’s Africa. Ivan Carter is the host of both Tracks Across Africa and Hornady’s Africa. He is widely recognized on both a national and international level as one of the most respected Professional Hunters, television personalities and African wildlife authorities in the outdoor industry.

Born in Southern Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe), Ivan’s passion for wildlife developed deep and lasting roots that continue to shape his professional, and personal life. As a Professional Hunter, Ivan holds a license in several African countries. He averages over 200 days a year guiding clients and filming for out television shows.

Ivan Carter is considered in both hunting and conservation circles one of the world’s foremost experts on the African elephant. His groundbreaking film, Boddington On Elephant with IVAN CARTER, is widely recognized, as the finest film of it’s kind dedicated entirely to the hunting, understanding, and conservation of this amazing creature. A popular speaker at trade shows and safari industry events, Ivan has lectured around the country at a diverse range of venues including Stanford University, all the while promoting sustainable wildlife utilization and the role of the hunter\conservationist.

HORNADY'S AFRICA
As a result of the overwhelming viewer response and interest in African hunting, Safari Classics is entering it’s fourth season as the producer of the television series Hornady’s Africa With Ivan Carter.

This show airs 3 times weekly during the 1st and 2nd quarter on The Sportsman Channel, a network dedicated entirely to the hunting and fishing experience. Each week, join show host and professional hunter Ivan Carter, the recognized face of the modern day safari, as he takes you to the dark continent in search of adventure.

In addition to exciting safari hunting action, each weekly episode contains in depth safari tips information including history and habitats, guns and loads, shot placement and trophy judgment. TRIJICON'S WORLD OF SPORTS AFIELD
Safari Classics Productions is the producer of Trijicon's World Of Sports Afield. Each week, we take the viewer inside the pages of Sports Afield magazine as our film crews circle the globe in search of big game adventure.

Trijicon's World Of Sports Afield is hosted by renowned conservationist and author Shane Mahoney. Shot on location in the top international hunting destinations, this series captures the spirit of the hunt for some of the worlds most coveted big game trophies. From the rugged Yukon, to the mountains of Turkey, the great game fields of Africa to the windswept peaks of Asia, Trijicon's World Of Sports Afield penetrates the heart of adventure-based programming.

Closer to home, our cameras capture the hunt for elk, whitetail and mule deer, as well as the quest for grizzly and brown bear. Adventure based hunting has a new name, Trijicon's World Of Sports Afield TV.

Shane Mahoney is the host of Trijicon’s World Of Sports Afield. A Newfoundland native, Shane is a wildlife scientist who ran research programs in Newfoundland and Labrador for many years. His work on bears, moose, and caribou has been published in a wide range of peer-reviewed scientific journals.

Shane has also lectured extensively around the world on hunting and conservation issues, often appearing at the national conventions of the Dallas Safari Club, Safari Club International, and the Wild Sheep Foundation, among others. As a big game hunter, He is a passionate believer in the role of hunting as one of the key components in the management of wildlife. Shane delivers the weekly conservation message on our Tracks Across Africa show.

Shane is no stranger to television, having narrated Leupold Big Game Profiles on the Outdoor Channel for the past five years. He hosted and helped write and produce two films that trace the historical development of wildlife conservation in North America and in South Africa (Opportunity for All and The South African Conservation Success Story).
